Sometimes people send you something with an "Amazing, I never knew that!" note that really makes you question the continued existence of the relationship.:baldy

So if it's just 8:20 at night and the year 2020 doesn't that give us 365 times this year? And if you add the 20th of the month...then it's 12 times a year...I'm blind, confused, stupid...or some combination but I don't get it.

Or...that's basically what you're saying about the person that sent it to you?

No, you got it. I almost think it's a joke, but it's being spread around and believed enough to make me want to watch Idiocracy again for some survival tips.

I think it might be best that you pick that up and move along. No one likes a litter-bug.

What a beautiful day! Did about a 40 mile ride around southern Maryland back roads on the '68 Triumph. Gotta get the rides in before I spend another 2 months at sea! Anyone else take advantage of the wonderful weather?

I was out there in this awesome weather, did about 250 miles today playin with the TOR waitin for @swrpres to drop it.

Topped it off with a fried chicken dinner and some homemade cherry crumb pie and then homemade peanut butter ripple ice cream.

I did not take this day for granted. I feel lucky to have been able to enjoy it.

I hope you get a plethora days like this @Beezer Josh before it s time to breathe canned air.

Thanks man! I'm going to try to get out again today. I leave early next week, won't be home until early September. I'm going to miss all the summertime fun, but with the coronavirus and shut down, things won't be the same for a while anyway. Might as well make some money instead!

Met a guy from Sharpsburg and we turned out to have a lot in common. He's been interested in buying a Super Tenere, so we traded bikes and had a good time on a bunch of back roads. Been a while since I've ridden an 800 Triumph and those are fun little bikes.

Looking forward to a week of warmth now that the summer switch has been flipped on and before it gets too humid.

Since she started med school in early 2012 my daughter has had a row house in a good part of Fed Hill next to Cross Street Market. Now that she's not a 20s grad student, with Charm City seeming to have started to slide downhill again on taxes versus services, and her hour+ commute to Gaithersburg, we've been renovating the kitchen to sell the place so my darling little girl can leave the city. (Actually, it's Everett doing the work, I just am Bank Of Dad on this one.)

To share from a text of two nights ago:

"So I believe my requirement list for a new place has been expanded to:
    1) A dishwasher
    2) Parking
    3) No more than one shooting within a half mile per week
    4) More than a 2 mile drive from any major protest area (This has not been her first protest or riot)
    5) Helicopters not so close all night that they interrupt the TV
    6) Optional: Would love a garage."

    :fpalm

FWIW, I can not always achieve 3, 4, and 5 here on Capitol Hill even with the USMC HQ 1 block away!
