That Ural is at my favorite shop.. .Cycle Specialties is a good dealership (I know people don't like to say that). They were very supportive of a NEWB rider when I lived locally. Good people I call friends.

I find it refreshing and reassuring when someone sings the praises of a dealership. I’ve been treated well by almost all the dealerships I’ve dealt with. I know from my experience in dealing with people in a customer situation that when people attack a dealership there is at least a 50:50 chance it is the complainer who is the problem.

"Old school" kick start Ural 650 from 1996. I like this seller -- he says in the ad that the rig has UDF because of how good it looks -- without explaining a single word to the ignoranti who don't know what UDF is. LOL! Nice.

What is UDF?

UDF = Ural Delay Factor. It's the extra time you have to add into any journey to compensate for all the time you spend answering questions from random bystanders who see the Ural and have to talk to you about it.

Interesting use of the word "vintage".

Thank you for this explanation of UDF and the Ural Delay Factor. I always thought it stood for the amount of time you had to factor into a trip on a Ural to fix broken stuff.
