    2003 Harley FLHTCI

    condition: good
    fuel: gas
    paint color: blue
    title status: clean
    transmission: manual

2003 Harley Electra Glide with a matching Champion sidecar for sale.

The bike has 88,665 miles, but only 8,000 since an update to a 97 in kit. Many new parts like a voltage regulator, drive belt, Harley Tri-Glige triple tree and forks, Brembo brakes on all wheels, throttle cables, Sirius capable radio, front tire on the bike, new car tire on the rear.

Sidecar has a new tire, 12 volt deep cycle marine battery, tonneau cover, electric lean to adjust for the crown in the road.

This is a mechanic special because it has an electrical short that blows the Accessory fuse and the brake light and turn signals go out, the speedometer stops working. She runs and drives, but without stop lights is is to big a chance out here in Snowbird Central.

Recently moved to Sun City West and they don't like me working on it here. Will sell the whole rig, the service manual, and service records since it had only 3,748 miles. $4,800 is a steal for this set up, but I'm getting old and tired.

No trades, no help selling, no Paypal, Call Paul, 623-203-7038 to see her.

Is this a good buy? How hard is it to put in a new harness?

I think I would have been interested in it if the EZS car was one of the wider models. But the Kompakt is just too small for what I would want to use it for. Those were 15" car wheels BTW.

I don't believe that was a Kompakt, Oops It probably is a Kompakt after reviewing EZS's site that's correct as is mine but I think they used to be an RX 1 and the kompakt was even smaller.
But it is more appropriately sized for a Mini Schnauzer and only a couple days of rally gear.

Yes I bought the beast.......but I'm sitting on my couch in Baltimore while my friend is enjoying (so far) the shake down cruise.......
The previous owner was a nice cat but taking care of mechanics on the rig was apparently not his strong suit........
Pit stop in Ventura (RPM Cycles) where Tom will wrench before heading East in earnest......:velvt

    Your imagination.
That, and how hard is it to trace/test the power feed wire (orange/white) for the speedo'. Followed by then doing the same for the brake light switches.

I'ma call bullshit for this one.

I've got a "tech" in the shop that could burn the whole thing to the ground doing that.

The W650 is a sweet bike. I've had two over the years and they were trouble free. That rig does look nice. It is an auction starting at $5499.

"2000 Kawasaki W650 with a Velorex 562 sidecar. The rig was professionally built by Bob Wark. It's fully sorted out. Runs flawlessly and handles like a dream (for a sidecar!). Very easy to ride. The idea was to keep it light and sporty. "

I've seen that rig for sale previously, but don't recall the price. His asking price seems quite reasonable to me considering people are asking $4500-5500 just for a W650 alone (albeit with a few less miles).

How do you suppose it would do as a sidecar tug?

Yeah, I did some more searching out of curiosity after my original post and saw that they all sell (or at least attempting to) in that price range. I'd have to factor in shipping costs as well, because I just can't make an 800+ mile fly & ride work at this point. :-)
