My son has a baseball tournament in Pueblo CO and I was thinking of riding up to see them play. I was going to follow this route:

Any concerns about snow? Or road closures? Or anything else?!

    Thanks, J

I do not have any info to give up you, but that looks intriguing. Please post how it went if you try it.

That is Pass Creek Pass. There was a fire just to the west a number of years ago and washed out the road. Probably fixed by now, but it was a mess for a couple of years. Nice ride if you can get through. @Podzo's PD would know.

Yup, I saw that too. If the weather cooperates and I'm able to make the ride, I'll definitely get a pic or two!

If the road is still washed out, you could always head east down to FSR 520 straight north of La Veta on 160.
This takes you straight north to Hwy 69, just east of Gardner. Turn north again on FSR 630 @ Gardner and roll to 636 to 369, which is Greenhorn Mtn Road.
Take a nice picture at the 4-way on the saddle ridge, and head down east on 361, Ophir Creek Rd to Bishops Castle which is close on Hwy 165.
Very nice Davenport Campground just south of Bishops Castle, it is the old road from Beulah and deadends @ the campground. Enjoy!
