the problem of the detaching protective layer from the tank clogging the strainer and putting in danger both the fuel pump and injectors hasn't been solved, we have more and more cases of thank being changed and presenting AGAIN the same issue

the sole protection is the MAZINGA

the combination of the improved strainer, larger in surface and dual layer design with the TOTAL fuel pump cover design, will keep all sort of debirs from reaching the pump

clean your main filter with our procedure, and start with a totally new and protected fuel system

well, we knew one day it woul come to this, but gosh, I hoped it would be much better done ;)

it seems that there are some fake and/or second hand Guglatech fuel filter sold as original or "good", so please, should you have any doubts about model/origin or authenticity of you Guglatech Fuel and Air filter, contact us BEFORE spending some money

here a detached fuel filter, not our neck design and for sure not the proper glue for the job

As they say " imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ."

I heard about your filler neck drop in fuel filters from Bike Hedonia ( Grace ).

I too recently acquired a 2018 KTM 690 Enduro R ( USA model ). I have a Vanasche fuel filler neck. Some questions:

    - Do you make a Guglatech filler neck filter?

    - Do I have to remove the Vanasche filler neck to mount the Guglatech filter? Or do I just drop it between the filler cap and collar? Any good videos of how to install for 690?

    - Best place to buy? ADV discount?

    - What is maintenance route for the Guglatech filter? Take out and flush debris? Lifespan?

My apologies is all these questions have been covered .

    Kam

Grace is an amazing rider and mech, she is really too good ;)

here the simply video for the intallation,

yes, you will have to take off the neck and than mount it back on ;)

filter is huge, will need no servicing, let it get dirty and allow the filtering pore to start the natural accumulation and thus become even more effective ;)

also Grace mounted the out-of tank filter mod, and we have now available the Mazinga fuel pump cover system to protect the fuel pump from whatever may already be in the tank

    cheers and thank you

I have the ktm twins "quicklock" gas cap, will I be able to fit a tank filter on my 1290 SAR? I'd like to buy that plus the other 2 components of your "kit" not sure where to do that here in USA....Help. thanks. One more thing, there is a fuel filter (inline) that we can buy locally?(to save on shipping etc) Is there a part number anyone feels like sharing? thanks

@Rips Millar haha mate, ain't that fair to use my selling post to ask where to buy competitors products ahhaha don't you think?

I belive that the ktm twins is just the key avio cap elimination right? the filter sits below the plastic neck filler, for the parts you can ask Bestrestproducts in the US, check also our air filter, nothing protects like a Guglatech

    cheers

I am so sorry, that was out of line, I seemed to have a memory of you suggesting we outsource that filter since it wasn't really something you built, but my memory could very well be wrong, I apologize for that.

hi, no need to apologize ;)

there was such a suggestion in a monting topic of one ou our customers, but from our tests, the filter suggested is not as efficient and good in filtration standard therefore we canno recommend it's use

the discount puts the whole kit on a very good price level, send us an email should you require a different quotation or mix

    thanks

Can confirm no import duty as I ordered from Guglatech in December and FedEx shipping was fast at 8 days once it left Guglatech.

Declared value under $800 generally isn't an issue as long as all paperwork (customs declaration forms) is attached and correct and up to $2000.

It helps to familiarize yourself with the HTS codes for the items you're importing to know if you're responsible for any duty.

With International Postal Service where the package is forwarded to USPS for delivery, there can be delays with customs. I've had it happen, sitting for weeks in customs with no info and no responsibility (google "ISC NY"). USPS will tell you they can't do anything and package might be lost and never arrive.

Courier service (FedEx, UPS, DHL) is usually faster and smoother process due to having customs brokers at their hubs but still may be charged broker fees and duty fees.

I had an issue with DHL last year where I had to pay $70 duty tax prior to delivery on $900 in clutch and clutch parts from Italy. I paid to get the items then disputed the fee with DHL, provided the correct HTS code (they claimed wasn't readable on the shipment paperwork) and the fee was refunded.
