Really great that a last minute gettogether turns out well!
Happy new year!!!!
It's been nearly two weeks since I last posted. i haven't fallen off the edge of the Earth, just busy with other stuff.
I'll start with my stats for 2019. I always add up my mileage at the end of the year. Here's the miles I rode:
Like 150i 6635
Super 8 746
That makes a total of 15,708 miles for 2019.
I did get out and ride a few times. I took the Like out a few times trying to troubleshoot the engine quiting problem but I'll have to take it to the dealer. I was going to go today but was in the emergency room real late last night with my dad who fell and broke a few bones
Found that my favorite sunrise spot is now off limits for motorized vehicles
I still need new tires on the Like so I didn't go too far on this road:
Went on a ride with three other guys yesterday. It was the first group ride in a long time where I wasn't leading.
It was a beautiful day, sunny and high 50s.
Sorry to read about your Dad. Hope he heals up well.
Best wishes for a full recovery for your Dad and a great year of riding and reporting for you, Win!
Prayers for your dad!
Thanks. He broke his collarbone and some ribs so he will have trouble getting around for a few weeks.
Win.. glad to hear your Dad is doing well after his accident...
All the best to a speedy recovery for your dad Win.
All the best to your pops' Win.
Surely not easy on him, but not easy on "the kids" either!
Dad was doing well but developed pneumonia and is now in the hospital. Thanks for all the good wishes.
Sorry to hear that Klav. Hope he is on the mend soon.
Win, Sorry about your Dad’s accident and illness. Prayers and best wishes for his recovery. Thank you for taking me (us) on several great adventures this year. Your writing and photography are superb. Hope you have another great year of riding and posting.
Dad's not doing that great but we are still hoping for the best. I've been spending a lot of time at the hospital so not too much riding going on. I did ride the Like to Wally World today and it didn't die on me. I still need to get it to the dealer but I don't know when that will happen. I also have a new front tire waiting to be mounted at Midway Cycles that I need to take the wheel in for.
Thanks again for all the good wishes and comments.
Sending positive thoughts your way, Win. Good for you spending as much time with your Dad as possible, I know he appreciates it. Pneumonia's a threat at any age but as we age it presents a bigger challenge.
Win, I figured you were kinda busy since you haven't been riding lately...
Please know that the B8 clan is pulling for you and your family...
Pulling for your Dad. Glad you're able to be there for him. Hospitals always suck, but it's good to have to have the support of family there.
Hope your dad gets well soon.
