"And The ugly"
Brand new bike, damaged in shipment, serious dent in the tank but no leaks, only $800, everything seems to be working. remote start and all,
I will patch it up for now, maybe replace some plastic later. It showed up on FB marketplace yesterday. I plan to join you guys on the next ride!!!
At least you won't have to worry about scratching it like the typical new bike
I sure like your photos. I have been hanging around since you directed me over here from another thread a while back. Keep em coming!
Tony, I just noticed that the tires on your Brozz are much knobbier than what came on Rich's bike. What brand of tires are they?
That's gonna make some great left turns!
Tony has a BSR, 21 front, 18 rear. Not a counterbalanced engine.
Just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying your posts. I've been following your adventures for quite a while now and it's wonderful to see not only how much fun you're having in your travels, but how you encourage and bring along many friends with you on your rides.
I recently found your thread on how you got into motorcycling and shared your life's story, I understand the struggles of your military career as I'm a retired Coast Guard officer (did the whole 30!) and faced many of the same kinds of issues. It was both fascinating and heartwarming. Thanks for taking the enormous amount of time to write it up.
Hope to meet up with you one of these days on the Dragon's Tail!

Yuanxing 80/100/21 I took my MCO to the local DMV and was told the MCO was a copy and not acceptable. They also told me I need a Bill of Sale.
I did not get a "Bill of Sale" from the seller. Is that really necessary?
It is in Alabama.
Bill of sale is easy. Write one, sign it, take it to the DMV. They do not fact check on the spot. Only issue would come if the seller was dishonest.
::cough::signatures can be forged::cough::
Sounds like the voices of experience
When I went to tag and title the Tenere last month, I wanted my wife's name on the title. I brought a copy of her driver's license with me. The clerk said she needed her signature, and said, "Sign her name here" and watched me forge it off her license.
A friend once told me about a bike he bought from a guy in GA who got it from a guy in Illinois but he never titled it in GA. He provided the contact info for the guy in IL in case he wanted to title the bike in AL. The guy in IL said he didn't wanna fool with mailing it back and forth, just go ahead and sign his name. No issues whatsoever. All that said, a bill of sale should be no issue.
Tony is in Tennessee so different rules may apply.
I told the examiner that she was in the car but couldn't come in. I took the papers out to the parking lot and signed her name.
Bill of sale is how they figure sales tax.
I think every state requires one.
Except NH . There's no sales tax there.
Thanks for all the responses, the seller is sending one to me! cough cough
All of the above! Been there, done that.
