Agua Caliente Hill?
I recognize it, but those signs weren't on the gate last time I was there. Had a fun time trying to find the old trail past the gate, and it eventually led to and ended at a pond. The split before it led down to Camino Cascabell, but it's closed off for a whopping 1/4 mi of suddenly private property.
This route is on the SE lower slopes of AC hill.
You know the route, this gate is beyond the pond.
Both of you are in the ball park, what do ya'll have for pics?
All of my pics are mostly old camp trips in the Land Cruiser. After a while I just stopped taking pics and just enjoyed being there.
Man I wish that private property section wasn't closed off, I love the route up there and can be on the trail in 5 min.
Kind of like this one from 1995
Where is this?
Know it well! I'm pretty sure I have the same pic of my Land Cruiser somewhere.
Fill in the gap.
Sure is quiet. Nobody getting out in the cool weather?
I made it to Flagstaff/Happy Jack. Pretty sure that's out of Gadsden reach though.
If you are hinting you would like to see a new picture, here's one. If you are still waiting for the answer to the last pic, never mind.
My apologies for no conformation on it being on the Gap road.
Thanks for verifying. I wasn't certain.
The mountains make me think of somewhere around Kinney/Tucson mtns. Don't know the site though.
Sure looks like the Mule mountains NW of Bisbee.
But what cemetery?
I don't know all the mountain names in the area. It's tens of miles east of Bisbee.
In the interest of moving things along, the cemetery is called Cottonwood Cemetery.
It is about 26 miles east of Douglas on a straight line and just off the Geronimo Trail.
From looking at topo maps I think the mountain in the background is Outlaw Mountain.
I think I have a few more interesting pics in the area.
Thought that terrain looked familiar. I rode out to Slaughter Ranch mostly dirt a couple years ago from three points. Got all kinds of lost. That was a loooooong day round trip on mx knobbies.

BTW, one of the best locations for the motivation of the thread yet!
