locus map pro (made in germany) does all this. I follow custom tracks/routes made by locus (off/online) or kurviger (online) and look at waze (online) at the same time split screen. I don't think Jony Ive has that covered yet...Android devices have a clear advantage for adv conditions.

Has anyone attempted to use the offline nav on the Droid? I keep getting an error message "No suitable edges near this location".
I emailed the developer. No response yet.

Ok, got the skinny on the offline navigation. Make sure you download the offline navigation (not just maps) for the area you are navigating through.
Settings>Navigation>Offline You will see the prompt to download navigation under the tabs.
It seems to work well and route very quickly. Much faster than OsmAnd+. I have not tried it on the road yet to determine if it will recalculate if you go off route.

Does anybody know how to (if possible) add points of interest while recording a route or following a already made route ?

I'll chime in as I've been using this app for a few years but only for a making a track as I ride/walk or preloaded tracks. It will open most .gpx files or .klm --- google earth files. It is my only gps and I have never used a "real" gps unit. The most useful and easiest way for me to use it is to build a route on google earth and email the file to myself, then open the file on my phone with Galileo Pro. It's a very handy app for traveling in foreign countries as well. I've used it all around Spain, Mexico, Jamaica, Taiwan, Canada, Japan, Guam, Aussie Land, and South Korea.

To add a way point hold your finger on the screen and label it

Email the .klm file to yourself and open the attachment with your phone

With Google earthlink I meant the satalite ”picture” as a map. I tried the linka from Galileo linked in this thread but the one named ”satelite” didnt work. Is this the one Im thinking of ?

Is it possible to acces the route in Google MyMaps from my phone ? I only manage to send myself a mail with a link, not the KLM file from my phone...

No it won’t do that it’s not smart enough. It’ll need a file to open.

if you saved the kml to Google my maps online, you can view it in regular google maps on your phone.... look at "my places" in Google maps, it's there

Not sure if this is what you meant, but you can indeed use google satellite imagery as your map. You just can’t use it offline (besides whatever it caches).

    From Galileo’s Facebook post:
Just remind you can easily install the custom online map source to be viewed in the Galileo:
    https://custom-map-source.appspot.com
    https://ms.galileo-app.com

    1. Open the link on your device with Safari/Chrome.
    2. Select the source and open in the Galileo app.
