The ultimate in badassery would be an eventual build of a third building that connects your two barns.

Nice stable. What are you going to finish the floor with? I’m thinking epoxy for mine for durability but damn it’s not cheap. Yeah, i put in more lighting too... I probably wired in overkill for lighting, but I’m sick and tired of not being able to see at night in my other garage. I might need sunglasses when finished. Lol.

I was looking at epoxy, but more than likely I will acid wash the concrete and then stain and polish it. Then maybe some sort of clear coat.

I agree on the lighting and electric—you can never have too much or too many options. I had the electric company put in a separate 200-amp service drop for the garage. Now I’m ready for anything.

200!?! That’s awesome. I went 100. Maybe I need to talk to my electrician.... wiring is done, but haven’t put in the sub panel and pulled the line to the fuse box yet. Hummmm......

Passed the electrical inspection and put insulation in all the outside walls. No need to insulate walls next to the interior of house walls.

@Moose Dog where do you store the bike lift when it's not in use? I'm really considering one, but that is one aspect I haven't nailed down yet. I have a garage of a similar size to yours.

    Thanks!

I don’t know where MooseDog stores his, but when not in use mine is lowered to the ground and I can park my Jeep over it. It easily fits between the wheels.

Under a work bench, you can see it in the second pic behind the CRF250X, as mentioned by Parcero, I can also park my truck over the top of it.

I had the same problem with the harbor freight lift. It was nice to have and I could park the Jeep over it but I had to disassemble the handle to park over it and it just took up to much space.

I’ve been thinking of the kendon fold up stand as an alternative. It can fold up against the wall or hang on the wall.

I kind of want to knock a hole in concrete so when it's down, it's flush with the rest of the floor.

That’s a great idea, the only thing is that it would reduce the working height of the lift, although probably not my much.

I want a lift and I want to store it out of the way under a bench when not using it, but I also want to epoxy the floor and afraid it will scare the floor moving it back and forth. Hmmmmmm

I posted 2 of each picture for some reason but you get the idea. When the lift is down it is flat with the floor
