    On one of those really hot days last month I came across this in New Providence on my way to buying a refreshing beverage:

    I've ridden it over a dozen times top to bottom and back again. With a little common sense and a lot of luck ,I've never been pulled over despite regularly traveling over the limit. Enforcement is usually highest around Ashville NC. If you can only do part, South of Ashville to the Cherokee is the best half.
