I've looked on ebay, but not sure. Do you all know where I can find a few adhesive mounts for motorcycle helmets for my Virb Elite?
If you know of a part number or any information, I appreciate it. Thank you.

There is a GoPro adapter I use, and purchase the GoPro mounts as they have many more options to choose from

And this adapter works for the Virb elite? Do you have a pic by chance?
I have the mount/cradle the Virb elite sits in, I just need the adhesive mount for the helmet that the cradle screws upon.

The adapter is from Garmin, and it adapts the Virb cradle to all of the GoPro mounts, and I think the GoPro adhesive mounts come in packs of five. All my mounts are GoPro beyond the Virb cradle

    Sorry, no pix yet

    Still lovin that old Elite.

Hey, did you know that with audio on on the camera, you can actually hear it squawk at you from the top of the helmet when it’s about to die from a dead battery, and it’ll also squawk if you’re trying to record but your card’s full.

This is assuming you’re not riding at freeway speed, or with earplugs in.

    What a great camera.

    Is this what you need?

This is a curved one. Fits nicely on a helmet top and possibly side, depending on the helmet.

It’s too bad Garmin isn’t selling these anymore. They are far better than anything GoPro makes.

Yes, that is what I seek. I wish they could be purchased in packs of 6 or 3, so you could have them for different helmets.

You can have this one if you pay postage. Garmin sent me a bunch of adapters ages ago but I don’t want to sell any.

    But one is no problem.

Aren't those for the newer VIRB X & XE, not the older VIRB & VIRB Elite?

Has anyone had their Virb Elite freeze up in blinking red light mode?
Then I have to take the battery out to get it to stop. Is it because it gets hot, or is this not affected by temperature?
    Thanks for any information.

Mine freezes from time to time, no amount of resetting have helped. It usually starts acting up when i try to turn the slider off.
The camera freezes up, and makes a continious "beep".

Holding the off button for 10 secs shuts it off, and it turns itself on again.

    Hey Guys,

I have a Garmin Virb Elite used a couple of times with 3 batteries, a bunch of mounts and, memory card and remote. Everything is like new, thinking of selling but wondering what you think its worth. These seem to be going to going for decent money but thought I would ask the collective before deciding...

    Thanks,

    Andy
