    The XT looks freaking awesome!

Pretty sure it will be my next navigation unit.

I will miss that! Is there any other device compatible with the Garmin Sensors or will se just have to buy an unrelated TPMS device?

Looks like a nice unit. I guess my 595LM with TPMS is for sale.

I've learnt not to trust Garmin when they say Ultrabright or Brighter display. Compared to what ? There is a huge difference between watching a video of the device indoors and actually looking at the display outdoors in broad daylight. On the other hand, some of the features on this XT sound pretty good.

I've been looking to upgrade my 660. Release date? GPScity says November

So many great features - looks like Garmin finally gave up making moto their cash cow and made a unit worth buying.

Does anyone know if this unit will use the same style cradle as the old 660 series? I use my old 660 on my BMW RT because it fits the cradle and I’m too cheap to buy BMW Nav6.

It won't unfortunately, the 396 and 595 use a different mount. I have a nice Touratech one for my 660 I'm going to have to abandon eventually.

    Sounds very promising!
Very interested to hear real world experience, especially how “raw” the FW/SW will be when the unit hits the shelves and firsts customers. Local dealer already has a written review praising (as usually) and saying it’s the best MC gps built to day...

my 590 might be too.. and has that nice TPMS function

I'd prefer the Inreach mini compatibility of the XT over the TPMS function on the 590.

Yes, it will, at the review I’m referring above it has been tested with OSM and it was perfectly working with them

Perfect, many thanks. May be the right time to get a screen bigger than what my montana offers.

I hope the birdeye view is better than what is on the Montana. Man is that painful to download a state worth.

Lock screw on the Montana Rugged Mount isnt much but it does allow us to briefly walk away. Not seeing it on the XT mount. Although instead of using an old sock the XT does have a snazzy tote bag.
