I'm late to the game but just got my XT. So far I created ten routes for a ten day trip and named them day 1, day 2 and on. When I export them to the XT and look at them in trip planner the order is random. First day 6 then Day2. Is there a way to put them in the proper order?

    Thanks

got it all installed and hooked up
    maps and firmware updated etc
my own maps and music onto a card and in

but havent been out yet to trial it

that little screw is a pain to install in the power lead
doesnt seem to give a definite click when you put it in the cradle like the 590 but cant move it when its in
anyone else notice this or maybe it will get a more definte click after a few times ??

have a kradlelock off my 590 that i think will be able to be adjusted to do the job for a bit more security so the thieving asswipes just cant hit the button and walk off with it
if at a garage or having lunch etc

will still remove it o'nite to be safe

I would like my recorded track, the one that shows where I have been, to appear a little bolder on the map. Currently it is obscured by an ATV map I have installed on the unit. I see how to customize themes so that tracks appear bolder, which has been helpful, but don't see anything obvious about how to edit my 'where I've been' track. Thanks for any tips.

Have a look at post #476, I have those themes on my XT & the tracks are clearer - not sure if that helps you out

Thanks but I’m talking about the track laid by my travel route, not a GPX track I load up; the one that shows where I have been not where I am going.

I love mine! Ther are some minor annoyances that are boudn to be taken care of with software but for me don't take away from how great this machine is!

The general procedure will be the same as widening the track, but you will need to experiment a little to see which parameter needs to be changed.

If a color change would make enough difference, this tool simplifies color changes without knowing hexadecimal color codes: http://www.javawa.nl/zumocolors.html
I think TRK_SAVED is probably the item you want to change.

I just push the button and put the XT in my pocket. That's free and works really well.

I can't find any values in the Map Theme that are specific to the track being laid down while recording. Perhaps that is in another file besides the map theme. I'll have a poke around and see what I can find...

It also has one of those round key locks you can open with a Bic pen.

Are you going to put them in to production for the rest of us?
At half that price with just a screw like the Montana bracket would be good enough

I like my XT ....not sure why BASECAMP won't always connect to it. It usually takes multiple USB cable attempts.

I thought about it but not worth the effort...easy enough to make a bracket that attaches at the rear, the some sort of angle bracket which keeps the push button locked in place. Bracket would be held in place by some sort of torx screw...
