On a little 148 mile trip I took two weeks ago, I used 2.66 gallons. This translates to almost 57 MPG. :D

However, I suspect the odometer is 10% off, like the speedometer. If I recalculate, this translates to 62.5 MPG. :huh

If I recalculate correctly... :rofl...I get just over 51 MPG.

    Not too shabby!

First two tanks were around 35-37.

Bought it from Max at sea level w/ too tall of a front sprocket(ask Thinair thumper or 309 :eek1 ), too rich of a main jet, and too high of a needle for 5345-feet and up. I've since dropped the needle 2 notches, dropped a tooth from the front sprocket, and plan on changing the main jet of 165 to 160.
I'd go burn a tank of gas right now, except I'm waiting on its clutch cable to arrive. :cry

'01 GSPD 650: best- upper 70's crawling along in 2nd gear, worst- lower 40's wide open w/ loaded boxes on a Mexican toll road(I weigh 212, too). Average about 60mpg.

    '95 Ducati SS900: mid-40's.

The bike's got thirstier recently for some reason. Not sure if I am just riding harder or if its the Parabellum I put on a few weeks back or some tuning problem. Feels like she's running great though.
