No 2021 trials 125 models for USA, and only one enduro model EC300 2T.

"Bomb proof construction" might have been a poor choice of words for the TXT. :lol3

Interesting that USA spec 2021 TXT Racing models get Ohlins 2 way shock, but Euro spec bikes get a Reiger 2 way.... Also no 2021 125 model for USA.

It almost looks better to me than the Husky’s.

Scoff all you want, but you can't argue with success. So far the formula is working pretty well. In the 6 plus years that the Austrian Husky appeared, the brand has flourished. Gas Gas went bankrupt twice in the same period.

It looks like the Austrian Gas Gas off road bikes are priced lower than their KTM counterparts. The MC125 MX bike is only $200 more than a Yamaha YZ125. KTM 125SX is $800 more than the YZ125. Husqvarna TC125 is $900 more than a YZ125 KTM has Gas Gas squarely pointed at the Japanese brands.

Rode Ohlins on my two Raga Gassers for 15 years. Excellent shock. My 19 Gold has the good Reiger and it is other worldly. It soaks up anything and gives amazing traction.

My first exposure to Reiger was on Gas Gas Enduro bikes 8-10 years ago. They are pretty much the preferred shock for trials right now.
I'm guessing the KTM thinking is that for the USA market, Ohlins is a more recognized and respected name in suspension. Their target market right now is crossover off road riders, not traditional trials riders. What's gone down in the last 4 years with Gas Gas North America, has really almost eliminated the traditional trials rider sales in the US. Almost every serious and not so serious trials rider I know in the Northeast who was on a Gas Gas 4 years ago, is now on another brand. Also a good way to use existing stocks of Ohlins, from the previous model years.

Menu Icon top right will take you to Models, and then you can choose type of bike. There is only 1 Enduro model, but 4 XC. MSRP listed.

I'm surprised by the pricing of the EC300. Only a $600 discount to go GasGas. I sort of thought that GasGas would have been discounted a bit more with bigger differences between the bikes.

I like it! I wonder how much is really different from an XC300? Braktec brakes will be interesing. I really prefer PDS, mainly for the ease of maintenance. And I love having the computer and it looks like there is one on the GG? And the best part is everybody will be asking what model Honda that is...

The EX300 has Brembo brakes and Brembo hydraulic clutch, and AER forks. It's very close to a 300XC. EC300 is very different spec from a 300XC-W.

I was looking at the EC300. I actually like the WP XPLOR forks and the more enduro trim.

I prefer the enduro version no matter the color. I only mentioned the EX, because you asked how different from 300XC, not XC-W in your previous post.
