I'm new to adventure riding at an older age, but just ran across something in my back yard that looks promising. It crosses north Georgia for 390 miles total, 226 miles unpaved and 164 paved according to the site. Lots of side rides contribute to that mileage total. Files for the track and waypoints can be downloaded on this site.

Looks pretty fun. I'm supposed to be in Georgia mid March, traveling across the US. How's the weather during March? If possible, I'll probably cherry pick a few sections that are closer to where I'm riding.

Georgia weather in March can range from possible freezing temps at night to 80's during the day. It's usually pretty mild though, and should be a great time of year for you to ride here. The leaves will just be starting to come out and everything becoming green again.

I'm looking forward to it a lot. My gear can handle low 30's, high 20's if need be. (but can I?, probably not)
I love spring, and will be a good to feel warmer weather again.

    I'd worry more about rain.

I rode this back over Easter weekend and really enjoyed the ride. I did bail out about 35 miles west of Dalton. I lost count but there must be 25+ water crossings. Nothing bad, always fun for some reason.
