Well how do you like the 5 speed?
It's nice not to search for that 5th gear without resoults...
But withonly a stage 1 it is a bit slower than I'm used to, but the reliability and light clutch pull is nice.
Andrews N4 w/ new stock valve springs,Precision Machine (use O/S high tulip ex.) valves a good valve job programmable ignition and a little tuning/dyno time. High 80-low 90 HP range and decent economy and reliability on pump gas.
My old engine was Hammerised, 1250, V9, 88 rwhp, I may give them my money come winter...

So, I have decided to uppgrade the front brake, the 300mm disk and single R1 caliper are adecvate but not awesome. Like, I can make the wheel skipp with two fingers and adrenaline but there's to much arm pump doing long descents.
I have bought a caliper (6 pistons) with the pump from a tuber Buell and will fit that come winter.
BMW has a 320mm disk that will fit the GS wheel for more leverage to. I've been searching around to se if there is someone making larger discs for those wheels, but have not found anything, if somebody know of anyone, please tell.
Does anybody know what disk size the tuber Buells have btw?
Nice job! Was wondering if you have close up pics on how you mounted your luggage racks? I know we cross threads occasionally on XL; have you posted pics over there? if so, toss out link. Thanks!
