Drop: Aircraft on a stick.
Haha, thought you might
I was trying to think of commemorative plaques here in New Zealand, but we only have 200 years of European history, I'd have to travel a long way north to start finding them...
It was the same way for me when I lived in the Western US. Hard to find things over 100 years old. In the Eastern US things were settled first, so many more opportunities for that kind of thing.
Will keep that in mind next time.
Nah, you could find a place where the natives settled and post that.
Where there's a will, there's a way...
Have you got something in mind for this time?
Find a church established at least 100 years ago.
The Unitarian Meetinghouse is a historic church at the junction of Connecticut Routes 169 and 6 in the village center of Brooklyn, Connecticut. Built in 1771, it is one of a small number of pre-Revolutionary church buildings in the state.
No plaque hanging outside of this place, but i knew it was pretty old. Didn't know it predated the American Revolution
How about another unique way to display a town name?
How about Elsie the cow (Michigan)?
And if that works, go find a unique sign advertising a local festival.
1 sign. Many festivals.
Just a little reminder about this thread, you need to have your bike in the picture for it to be valid. Nice sign though
Hard to get the bike up there but I'll see what I can do.
swrpres seems to have the tag, what's next?
Find a flood gauge.
