New bags for my Sportster from Biltwell. My wife helped me with new straps for them because the ones that came with the bags were garbage.
Those look great on your Sporty, "7 beer volume" is just right for day ride essentials. I recently bought the identical bag for a tail bag and kinda laughed at the goofy straps but the wife snapped them up for some obscure purpose.
Your bike is cool as hell and the bags look right on it
Breakfast with some friends this morning.
Great bike! What are those mods to the rear end?
Sorry if this's been asked before.
What seat is that?
I would also love to know.
I think he has previously said it is an Easyriders-japan seat.
Insanity that no US manufacturers will produce a nice flat tall seat like that. Real rear shocks and a seat like that sure make a nice standard out of the sporty.
Couldn't find it on webike. But they had some other compelling options
No kidding, that seat is AWESOME! Surely there's at least SOME market for them here in the US.
If you took that pic (or better yet, a pic without the bags) & a seat pan to a good local seat guy, he'd have no trouble making one up.
At least mine wouldn't.
And it wouldn't cost a trillion yen.
Awesome day out yesterday, finaly some serious dirt riding...
