Ha! I'm at 700 ft. elevation so I'm not worried about sea level rise!
Simply superb....AGAIN......thanks for the pics and words Bill. Always enjoy your reports and am jealous of the bike and riding area choices you have.
Thanks again for so eloquently sharing how great the roads are around us.I am lucky enough to do that ride often but the way you capture it is amazing you should write a book
Thank you Dave, it's always fun to share the bounty!
Many thanks Gonefishin for your very flattering words.
Fantastic as usual. Thanks.
Always enjoy your ride reports, and they always make me want to ride those roads. Some are familiar, some not.
Fantastic stuff and ride report .. I was cold and hungry couple weeks ago on my PCH 1 trip to the Redwoods and back and I and enjoyed the most amazing meat lovers Calzone (freshly made bread and served hot) the the Stewarts Points store/ Deli .. Cheers ..
Thank you. Yes, the Stewart's Point Store is an oasis of tasty calories along that stretch of coast!
Fantastic ride report, thanks for sharing with us.
Great pictures, looks like a wonderful place to ride!
SSSSSHHSHSSSSH! Don't tell peeps about the awesome rides around here. That way they won't come to see them!
Great Report. I absolutely love riding on 128 between Napa and Winters. I have been wanting to take 128 towards the ocean, your ride report is the encouragement I needed. Cheers
Thanks EMFL, I'd recommend riding 128 end to end, from Winters all the way up through Boonville to it's end at the Pacific Coast Hwy. (or the reverse direction). The 159 mile route transitions from dry inland valleys to deep dark coastal redwoods. Light traffic for the most part, stunning scenery and really fun twisty riding. From the coast head south and return via one of several routes like Philo-Greenwood Rd., Mountain View, Skaggs Springs, or just take 1 all the way back to the bay area. Here's one I did a while back-
Thanks for the additional info, thanks to you I have my next ride planned
