Glad to help
Hope our paths cross in Ak
I will be up there for the entire month of June 2018 if all goes as planned. Alaska is a big place but a meet up is always possible. I will message you when I get to Fairbanks. See if we can work something out would be great to meet you. A cup of coffee and a piece of pie is always good. " Pie for Strength " Ride safe and have fun.
Mud was a bit tricky but slow and easy gets you there. Plus if you fall down going slow it hurts a lot less. Thanks for the compliment about the wife and yes I agree I am a very lucky man to have found her. She is a keeper that is for certain.
I hope you enjoy it.
If you are thinking about mounting something to your upper Windshield Bracket don't. Buy a Brace for it first Camel Adv. has them
Have been consuming many of the "Alaska" threads and really enjoyed yours. The Marine Highway Ferry will be part of our return route in 2019. As for Inuvik, I believe Northwest Territories was supposed to have completed the road from Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk last Summer. Should be able to dip your tires/toes in the Arctic Ocean if you so desire. Thanks again for the RR.
EDIT: Just looked it up and the "ITH" was completed in November.
Thanks for posting
Thanks for the information on the Dempster. Glad you enjoyed our Ride Report. I know you will like The Marine Highway the boat ride is a real fun time.
Great, great thread. I found it on google with "Africa twin to alaska".
Really enjoyed reading about the adventure......thinking of heading that way in 20. Thanks for sharing!
