New awesome tire : the new and much improved ; Goldentyre GT823 Adventure (replaces 723) .., but no sizes in 17” ..,

    I emailed Goldentyre asking why ? ..,
    and they commented back that ;

“Goldentyre think there are not enough 17” rear wheel sized adventure bike riders worldwide who’d be interested enough for them to warrant spending $80,000 making a tire mould to suit these bikes”

    All - BMW f800GS/ BMW f850GS/ Suzuki DR650/ Kawasaki KLR650/ Honda NC750X etc.., riders !!!
    ..., Please Please Please
    email Goldentyre ,
.., and let them know they are wrong , and that you would be interested in this type of tire and beg them to make that 17” tire mould to suit our bikes .

    Send emails to : sales@goldentyreworld.com

That definitely looks like a tire I'd want to try on the 17" rear of my DR650s..and the 18" T700 I plan to get in the next few years.

Is the front as aggressive as the rear, or is it like a K270, K60, or E-07, with a milder front tread?

Is it only sold in Oz though?

How much $$ USD for USA customers for DR650 and T700 sizes?

Is it speed-rated for at least 100MPH?

How many miles do people get out of these f/rr 723s/823s?

    That's over 12K miles!

I get a bit over 6K miles with a rear K761 or K270 on a DR650 and I'm thrilled. The big thumper tends to chunk the K270 sometimes if I'm silly with the throttle though.

What kind of moto was he on?

That was a typo that I will correct , it was 10,000 on a KTM 690 fully loaded

I edited the typo .., 10000 km on the 723. , I expect the new better road compound on the 823 will be hopefully more , if not the grip will be , but off-road for the 723 reviews are all positive as is road use for this type of tire.

It seems to me like a cross between a rear 244 and a rear T63 or E-09.
