We just got back home because Sandra has the dentist today. As soon as I pulled up to my house it started to rain and poured rain all night. Now I have some time to get caught up on our trip.

A short walk up the street i stopped to take a picture of a cafe warehouse and we were invited inside for a tour of the operation. All of their cafe is exported to Switzerland to make espresso.

I'm amazed at the location of some of the houses built here with no road and super steep ground. Donkey's and horses are the only way to get supplies or a strong back.

Great updates @Quindio, the ride over the mountains looked fantastic. And the hotel you guys stayed in looks perfect, nice courtyard in the middle and how cool to have the police want to swing by and meet the touristas visiting.

Pretty cool to see all those coffee beans ready to ship, and it's crazy to think all of that goes to Switzerland to make espresso.

Appreciate the pics and update man...we're having the wettest month in several years (which is a-ok given the shortfall earlier this year, but fack it's gloomy...lol).

The museum has the largest selection of hats in Colombia. Each hat represents a different part of Colombia. I remember walking with friends and they would tell me where people come from just by looking at the hat they are wearing.

The Hotel was super nice and the Police are always friendly. He was a tourist Police officer that are kind of new here, so when he heard we were in town he wanted to say hello and have me sign his book.

The coffee seller was very happy to sell all the coffee to one buyer in Switzerland making his job a lot easier. I did buy a pound and it was very good.

I feel the need to go riding again so we are packing up today and off in the morning. I'm looking at Google maps right now and it's sunny and 31c in Santa Marta.

Yesterday I had my bike serviced with new rear brake pads installed and replaced the brake fluid in the front and rear. I had a new tube installed because we got a flat tire while riding back from Honda the other day. The guy who fixed my flat was not skilled at all and broke one of the rear pads while trying to put the rear tire back on. It was painful to watch him. But being a Sunday in a very small town I had no options.

This trip I'll bring spare tubes and tools.
