    Nice!

Great bunch of pictures @Quindio, do you know the backstory behind the statue and all the knives shoved into the base of it?

All the terrain you traversed looked killer, the clouds against and above the hills is beautiful.

Have a great time on the ride to Santa Marta, knobby side down and can't wait to see the pics from that jaunt :thumb

Still trying to get caught up on the last ride that was a lot of fun with Sandra. I think the knifes were taken off the street and used to make it. My reading Spanish skills are bad and I didn't ask Sandra. The roads are just turn after turn so it's slow going but so much fun with views around ever corner.

Looking forward to leaving in the morning, going to be passing through Manizales again but then a different route. Once you leave Manizales you start the climb to over 12,000 feet and it can get cold if the wind is blowing.

Once we had our lunch we left for the ride to Medellin and I didn't stop as it was getting late until we got there. We got there at 5pm so the traffic was so bad. I stopped once to get my bearings and like I said before 2 motorcycles crashed into each other. Lots of people stopped to help so we left to get out of the city. We decided to ride to Rionegro and got there just after dark.

Beautiful Pictures you do have a great talent with the camera. I was suprised to see you in the picture, as I started this report for some reason I pictured you very young. I do not mean that derogatory but as a compliment. I myself am 65 so no spring chicken! You both appear younger than me but it does me good to see people let’s just say older experience the world on two wheels. I ride every chance I get and now you have me quite interested in Columbia. As I reside in Denver CO this would be quite a change. Thanks again for an excellent report.

Been wondering the same thing. Everything ok down south @Quindio? Hope you've been logging a ton of miles (KMs) on that Tenere and you're enjoying it :thumb

Bringing this back up, anyone heard from @Quindio?

Don't know him personally, but given the chaos in the world right now, hoping he's simply hunkered down :uhoh :uhoh
