Need to get back to NEAM and find out if they've moved anything more indoors.

My greater desire is to get back to Dayton . I could spend days there photographing planes.

More Milling Around: I was out yesterday checking out the old mill that @ShOqUePoT referenced as having a chance at a new life. The camera has lots of pics of that place that I will convert later but here's one for now.

Did you see this Skycrane the last time you rode there?

Scene While Riding: The place on the right had a nice, private spot (posted) on a lake with few other homes that I could see.

A New Favorite Hot Dog Place: Not that anyone cares all that much; however, this post might be useful to riders who're hungry for a good hot dog and are in the area. I was craving a chili dog again and went to this stand for lunch today.

Today's fare for me was two chili dogs. I wolfed one down and then realized I should get a pic. Two things stood out - the dog snapped when I bit into it and the chili was very good. Perhaps the only thing that could have made it better would be some of that superb grilling sauce @red bud introduced us to on top of the chili.

Below is the bill of fare, noting that I saw one guy with a sausage dog that had grilled peppers and onions on top. That's next.

The stand is located at coordinates 42.216325, -71.693082. I can also testify to the tastiness of the french bull dog.

Pulling these out of the files and running them thru AI is compensation for not getting to the Air Force Museum as was planned for last year and delayed again this year.

Did you know that the first American paint mill opened in Boston in 1700? It was the work of one Thomas Child. The mill was essentially a granite trough in which a granite ball was rolled to crush whatever was being used to add color (e.g., iron oxide, titanium dioxide, red ochre) to water or oil (e.g., linseed). Below is a nice colonial of that era - obviously well-cared for and extended.

A Street Of Colonials: I have always like the 1700s style, 2-story colonial home. Lived in one for almost 30 years before downsizing. Thus, I had to stop and take a picture on a street full of them.

Snapping dogs are my favorite and how I like to make them. I love a good dog with chili or is it sauce? :D An argument I have been part of many times...

Sometimes though I like a plain old mustard and onion dog. :nod

We are of like mind when it comes to hot dogs. chili dogs and plain dogs with onion and mustard are my favorites. Adding both carmelized and fried onion strings adds a bit of yum to that plain dog (shown below). I am making myself hungry.

You need to get back here and see the place along with Collings' new American Heritage Museum. Collings' place is world class with an event happening this weekend. Had you been you could have had some fun riding/driving a tank like you did that Stearman way back. It's tank demo day tomorrow from 10 -5

Tomorrow Is Tanks Demo Day: If you like tanks, The Collings Foundation is the place to be tomorrow and Sunday. The last time I saw a bunch of tanks running around was back in 2018, when they were running up and down the foundation's grass airstrip as part of a reenactment.

Located at coordinates 42.391501, -71.504869, the foundation's museum, hanger and car barn will all be open. Cost is $25 for adults and $20 for seniors/vets.
