A Worcester Railroad Bridge: The last time I photographed this RR bridge was back in Dec. 2015, when i took this photo:

The other day, I took this photo:

Following that snapshot, I took to the air get the following aerial photo.

The lower track is P&W while the upper is CSX. The cars on CSX were stationary.

The Fields Of Apex Farms: Apex Farms has one of the more modern farm stands, which is located at coordinates 42.624767, -72.659463. Aside having produce, the place as a great view, as shown below.

Several days back, we stopped for fresh peaches from their orchards. While there, I launched the drone and looked around. The first is looking east, at the same view as above.

Turning 90° to the left is the view north.

Finally the view 180° looking south.

I didn't take a photo looking west. As always, I have no affiliation with or interest in Apex Farms. It's just a produce stop when we're in the neighborhood.

Aerial Addenda, Errata & Miscellany: Below is a view taken above the Gilbertville parking lot looking south down Rt. 32. You get a good view of the Ware River Valley. Down the street, just out of sight, is a very special place.

There is a shop down the street that has, perhaps, the best raspberry danish in the entire world, baked to perfection in a wood-fired oven. It's not like we like to see any longer lines there or that they need any more business; however, if you're planning to be in the neighborhood, drop me a PM and I'll give you the details. The owner rides.

Aerial Addenda Showing What Was A Blast In The Past: To the left of the street below is the slab that once held the ruins of a mill that Kevin and I rode around in. At the far left is the bridge we posed the bikes on. Sadly, the place is now fenced and posted.

Below is the last time I rode across the bridge, taken in 2017.

Above The P&W: I was flying above the Providence & Worcester tracks in Worcester, MA, as they were coming out and under the CSX mainline. Below are two more photos, the first of which is looking east into the heart of Worcester from a little higher up.

Below is the view 180° to the west.

There hasn't seemed to be as much traffic coming here as in the past, which suggests the economy is still limping.

Along The Quabaog: The photo below was taken along the Quabaog River looking westerly at coordinates 42.211805, -72.231304. This area was once a heavily-industrialized village that took advantage of the river's water power.

Below is the view looking upstream east. The river is only about 25 miles long, stretching from Quabaog Pond in Brookfield to the village of Three Rivers in Palmer.

I put a canoe in and fished the river years ago with no luck whatsoever.

Things You Just Can't See From The Ground: One of those things would be the expanse of the CSX intermodal yard in Worcester. Below are two view, the first looking east.

Next is the photo taken looking west.

August View From Up High: Taken on the way up Mt. Greylock,. No need to launch the drone, which would be a waste of battery with this view.

An Accidental Firefighter Museum: It's not every day that you accidentally find a firefighter museum but today was that day. I was down in Uxbridge, MA, angling for more aerial pics of an old mill I shot earlier. Looking for a place to launch, there was this garage on the other side of street with two of its doors open and some guys sitting in one of the bays. It looked like a good place to ask permission to launch from their property.

The garage turned out to be a small firefighter museum and hangout for retired Uxbridge firefighters . They had some mint old fire engines.

Also in the building was a small by nice collection of firefighting paraphernalia.

What a nice bunch of guys. I got permission to launch from their garage. Pure serendipity.
