Don't Step On Graves: That's what my grandparents told me. They said it was simply an intrusion into somebody else's space. It was never a big deal as the shortcut from their home to the park was through the city graveyard. That said, we always respected people's graves and I thought about that when I parked by one to get some photos on a town common. If there is an old town common, a graveyard is sure to be close by. In this case, it was across the street.

Thinking the old tombstones were interesting, I walked in a looked at a few. That's when the idea hit to fly in. Below is the result.

But then thinking about the dead and ignoring the living is no way to go through life. Get on the bike and live!

I heard him leaving Ingersoll while I was finishing my lunch at PB's Fries so I headed to Woodstock to get these pics.

It's always great to see a 60+ year old MLW workhorse out and about. Appreciate your getting out to grab a pic of it. After spending all day yesterday in the shop, which will be repeated today, it was just what the doctor ordered. Thanks!!

Thank you, so am I. The redhead puts life back into these old bones and then carries them to interesting places to take pictures - altogether, a happy thing.

Thanks for the train fix! What a great vantage point, which made me wonder if your camera was waterproof. As train/bridge photos ops go, that lift bridge would be up there with Fort Madison IA's swinging bridge,m IMHO.

I think we're all glad to see you back on two wheels! That was quite a drama.

I was taught the same rule about stepping on graves. You just don’t do it.

Yes, waterproof Olympus TG-5 camera. Bought is used recently, still learning the settings. RR bridge is at the Chickamauga Dam on the Tennessee River.

A Nice Old Structure: Rode by this the other day - a nicely-restored old fire station (a.k.a "engine hall").

It looks to be mid-1800s in style and architecture - another interesting thing to look into. I would have taken more pictures but the redhead didn't want to stop for very long.

Another, Elaborate Small Structure: I saw this small structure along the road while searching for the Spooner Well and had to stop and take a photo.

Being not much larger than a small room, you might wonder what it was built for (e.g., elaborate playhouse, tiny school house, small chapel, etc.). I encountered something like it, but on a smaller scale, up in Vermont back in 2014 - a child's playhouse on the grounds of a classic Victorian mansion.

And then, there was this place, taken earlier this year; however, it was much larger than the structure in the first pic.

Sorry for being late answering this. We've put out corn in the winter but never lettuce or salad stuff. Since the wife has a thing for rabbits (she had one as a pet when very young), I will give that a try. Thanks.

With that excellent background music your video could well be the intro to a horror movie! lol

Small Waterfalls Are Restful: I happened by a place I'd never noticed before. It was the gentle sound of falling water that caught my attention.

It was a pool of water that had three small waterfalls feeding into it. You can see two of the three below.

Located at coordinates 42.471830, -71.837899, I had been down this road before but probably during a low water period.

With just a little clearing of brush, this could be a very scenic and restful spot.
