Sir ohgood, Thanks for reply I thought I was following the Google Maps directions. Has not happened before in plain Google Maps. I was attempting a plan in My Maps to save in Google Drive. This was to be overview. Thought was to plan day by day detailed routes when on ground to be flexible around weather, road considerations, COVID restrictions and etc. New to My Maps. Trip is 1 month beginning 9/10; Boulder to SC. I will PM u link to map Thanks again MikeV
Yes Sorry for late reply. Took 1 month 4800 miles. 23 nights camp,, 5 nights motel Used old Garmin nuvi primarily as tracker. What worked best for me was preplan about 300 miles on Google maps, save link, and use this for about a day. Fav places were Gunsight Point (UT/AZ border close to N rim GC); Burr Trail, Coronado Trail, Lincoln County NM Thanks to all who gave advice MikeV Old Phart
