    Thanks jgormley!!!

A HUGE kudos out to motokeith for the info on how to resize the photos in the URL as not to suck up the band width of the forum members. I know some of you are still on dial-up with your Apple II-C.... :lol3

If someone is able to help me understand how to embed photos from Google Photos, that would be great.

If Google Photos is not suitable for embedding (seems to be the case from some basic interwebs researching), what are the recommended platforms to support photo embedding in ADVrider???

Cheers. The literate and computer competent, but impatient and frustrated speedy.

The photo needs to be in a shared album which it looks like it is..
I did a right click and selected "Copy Image Address"

Then in the forum reply composer, click on the picture icon to the right of the smily face..
and paste the image address in the text box...

And hopefully you get a picture like this...

Your raw link is not a raw link. It is a link to a page containing the photo. On that page click on the photo to view just the photo, then right-click and select "Copy Image Address" or something to that effect. That is your raw link, and will yield a very long url like something like this...

    https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/U...1-NbAcdr-7WdU5f6xrUv7U8fP_C7hF=w1709-h1139-no

Now paste that into the image button box to get this

You are having the same issue as SpeedySteve above. The link you are using is not a raw link directly to the image, but a link to a page containing the image. The steps you missed...

    Goto your link: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/Y...vsFA49RNwO3qTtSsM2-oV1TIji64UnF=w855-h1139-no
    - Right click on image and click "Copy Image Address"
    - Paste that copied link into the image button dialog

The image was behind the {img} in your post. I right clicked that and clicked "view image" and it took me to your page with the image.
I then Copy Image and then Paste it here.

Edit: as @motokeith says or just copy the image and paste it in the reply box.
