I'm surprised nobody mentioned this already. The Sena Bluetooth Audio Pack for GoPro Not that it's even available yet, but it looks like it could be useful.
Sena said that they should already be on their way to retailers- so revzilla et al should start shipping them by next week.
Does it record the whole conversation of everyone you are talking with too? That seems pretty cool but me and the wife might have to be careful about what we say.
Yeah, I don't mind some narration on a video, but a running narrative becomes a bit too much. Besides, I have damage to my vocal cords and my voice trails off easily. And some say I shouldn't speak at all.
Just ordered a Black 3+ and lots of accessories (including chest harness and bacpac). Hope it's as great as it seems...
It looks like revzilla shipped my Sena Gopro Bluetooth backpack (but not the waterproof case). Should have it tomorrow.
Okay here's my first vid. I bought a Hero 3+ silver and have filmed plenty of video with it but nothing worth watching (haven't ridden much with this awful winter). Anyway I finally took the time to throw something together. I had a gopro back when they first made the wide angle version. I broke the crap out of that one (the audio was comically useless in EVERY environment anyway). But I've been pretty satisfied with this one so far. I put this one together as an "artsy" sort of thing, so I just picked a song, and cut the audio, as the song was really meant to be the focus of the video. Filmed in 1080p narrow (I prefer narrow for everything other than footage where the actual riding is the focus) Edited with Sony Vegas Pro 12 and Audacity I also want to say that the wifi app is SUUUPER nifty, but in these temps the battery lasted about an hour. I'm planning a multi-month ride and I think I'll go with 3 total batteries and the dual charger. That should have me set for most of the time. Anyway, comments, suggestions, questions welcome. Unless it's about the lack of engine noise, we already covered that. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/a0WLeC5FQHU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I posted this a while back and just realised the link didn't work... Excuse soothing tone of narration - I had the bastard cold from hell when I recorded it. <iframe src="//player.vimeo.com/video/80063131" width="800" height="450" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>
I am new with video recording tech and was wondering... What is the best setting to record on for getting decent quality video without the quality being so high that it takes years to upload on my 4 year old laptop! I have read through some of the thread and my head almost exploded lol Please advise, I got my first gopro, my first bike, I wanna get some footage
Right, greatly variable depending on compression standard. Is it H.254 ? I try to get impression what is the limit here - max bit rate at 1080p/30fps, for the particular model you have. Thanks for the attention.
