But there are some watches that are not expensive, which I'd really like to have in my collection. For example, a Sinn 556A, Seiko 6139, and maybe (don't laugh) a Hamilton Ventura. Blame it on Elvis. S.C.
Oh my! https://www.instagram.com/p/B3sQZJqB2xb/?hl=en Sorry, can't seem to steal the picture, Blancpain 50 fathoms in rose gold with a blue dial. Edit - from Blancpain's web site:
I almost fell for that analogy and glad I held out for my EXP2. Debates on a beater G-Shock for work but just got over it and nobody really notices, that I know of... only a few people have said anything.
I fucking hate gshock. However, I sucked it up for a work watch. I would rather destroy the gshock than anything else I own.
If you can't find a G-shock that is at least "ok", you aren't looking hard enough. There are hundreds of options.
Speaking of the sub-$1k category, I needed to time my commute this morning. The Ningaloo Reef got the nod. If I had paid retail for this watch, I would have cried. But for $500 used several years ago, it was a great buy.
Swiss army I.N.O.X. Best everyday watch ever for me. It’s resistant I have a blue with SS wrist band.
