From what I've read, isn't hacking the main thing the NH36 adds to the 7S26? (and hand-winding at the stem)

Or are there other more important differences?

Your wife is rocking a Snoopy!! She has stellar tastes. I hope you bought at msrp. If so, you’ve made a killing on it. And I’m surprised you didn’t take it!

Oh, man, most of our watches are "our" watches, except for a few bigger pieces for me and a few blinged out or super small pieces for her. But the Silver Snoopy, that one is the most argued over on most Tuesday mornings. She gets up first, and usually gets dibs before I get out of the shower. Her last answer about grabbing Snoopy on a Tuesday was "Rules are rules."

I bought a Noon version at Costo a couple of weeks ago. Wanted one most of my adult life. Took it back after a week as 12 hour watches are too ingrained to teach this old dog the new trick of just one pass of the dial per day. Well, that and I couldn't read the numbers w/out glasses.

Do you need numbers on your 12-hour watches?

I hate that you gave up on it, but it really only takes a week or so of regular wear for it to become normal. I can't see all the numbers on mine, but just like a 12-hour watch, I don't need them. Where I do need it is on the third and fourth time zones. Those move, so position changes.

The dial looks like it’s made from Washi paper, the hands katana blades and the power gauge an open Sensu fan. That’s a beautiful watch.

The lume wasn't impressive either. It did have the nice cream dial though.

Best thing about having kids. You can blame them for everything and they can't counter the claim.....lol.

Different architecture and more jewels, thus reducing friction.

They make a 12hr version called the double twelve. It is significantly cheaper aswell. I like the look and history behind the watch. Going to go with the 24hr version. I have narrowed it down to three models now.....lol. getting closer.

Like buying a speedy. Lord help me if they make a special edition between now and when I buy..lol

When did Drop last run an Airman noon? I'd love one with a black dial.

After 3 weeks on edge (since when does DHL handoff to USPS?) my '83 Heuer Carrera finally showed up from Germany.

Wild heritage on these, as the Swiss watch industry was burning to the ground... likely the last Heuer pre-TAG takeover, 38mm cushion case from the SAAF (and possibly same/similar as the 70s Omega Seamster), my favorite workhorse center-minutes Lemania 5100 movement, which up until recently I had no idea Heuer ever used in a Carerra.

A few hiccups, a little rougher around the edges than I thought, but the seller is being cool... I absolutely love the thing... should be a fun road to restoration. IMG_2768-5.jpg IMG_20200224_125649.jpg

Had a Base 22 "Mystery" once... sold it... then bought it back... then sold it again... and miss it again.

They're very cool with a lot of history, and surprisingly reasonable price... plus they hit the market before the GMT-Master ever did. 67139311_2421618734785065_211525155931349061_n.jpg
