Lost my job and while I need to feed 2 kids and wife, I am thinking of taking a 2 week brake to get things out of my mind.

Always wanted to ride Baja! Looking at recent posts, it seems there has been a lot of paving going on. I would like to avoid that - anyone has tips on where to go / GPX tracks from the last 6 months please?

I would trailer to San Diego from PNW and go from there. Riding Husky 701 - decent off road rider, experienced in back country travel. The more remote the better, views and scenery are important. I have extra gas tank with about 210 miles between fuel stops.

    Thanks in advance

Check out the Trip planning thread, there’s a few people headed that way.

Went down to Baja 3 yrs ago, one of the best rides! highly recommended.

we crossed at Mexicali/ Calexico, smaller border crossing, pretty easy.

yes, it's that time of year and i might need a break too.
