GPS Roll Over is coming April 6th, 2019

    For my company, it will impact devices roughy 8 years old and older. In most cases, there are software updates to address this. Most of you with newer devices are fine but good to check your manufacturer's site to make sure you're SATNAV will work well after 4/6.

    all that will happen is the timestamps will be wrong on waypoints and tracks. the trilateration will still work like it always has (or laughably HASNT) on the the device already.

    Seems like my zumo 660 (firmware 5.10) is having trouble with time, and it's possibly this shit.
    It always starts with clock at 14h59 or 19h59, and according to world clock app, it think it is aug 28th 1999.

    I updated the timezone map (gmaptz.img) on april 4th and I blamed it all day today. tried many reset, with/without acquired satellite... Once acquired, it's aug 28 1999!!!

    This roll over makes a lot of sense now...

    And of course garmin is to blame.
