does anyone have North to South tracks for WABDR, That will import into Basecamp?
You can download them right from the Backcountry Discovery Route Page - http://www.backcountrydiscoveryroutes.com/WABDR
Look over to the right side where it says Download GPS Tracks.
What do you mean "North to South tracks"?
You can ride any track in either direction.
You can reverse a track in MapSource or BaseCamp.
Sounds like perhaps you already have them but don't understand how to use them.
it was a messy exercise but reversed them and imported them into Base Camp
As I said above, unless you are going to cut and paste, direction of Tracks makes no difference. You just see them on the Map and follow them.
Maybe this is a dumb question, but the Butler maps show the WABDR as a South to North route. I presume there is no reason that you can't go North to South ... l know it sounds dumb, but I'm just checking!?
On some trails there is a difference in difficulty in direction but not this one.
Thanks Countdown -- really appreciate your input. I rode my bike earlier this month 4300 miles from Orlando to Calgary, 90% pavement (seehttp://landatrip.blogspot.com. I left in Calgary and flew home to Orlando, but am going back to get it in mid-August to take it to Seattle.
Seemed like a great chance to get a hundred or two miles on the WABDR!
I don't remember anything that would be a lot harder going in a particular direction. Been a couple years but I don't think you would have any problems doing it N to S.
I believe the command you are looking for in basecamp is called 'invert' or 'invert track.' That reverses it for you.
