Here is the race track. Don't know if it's 205, but I didn't see it anywhere... .GPX is attached and has the most compatibility. Brian
Hey Jonz, it's a big file and takes almost a minute to open it. I just kept waiting and then it opened...
I just updated mapsource, tried re-downloading it, and I still can't get it to open. doG, I love / hate technology.
Yep. Here's the error message i get in a new window: " ... 07Baja100GPS.gpx is not a valid Mapsource file and could not be opened" there is an "okay" button to click. No biggie as I have the google earth file. Also, EasyGPS couldn't open it either fyi.
Maybe it was version 7 or 8 when they went to that. Try the gdb or mps files on the link above. I know those will work down into version 4...
hey brain thank for sticking this up. i can't get it to work from the score site. i've been over on the racing forum trying to get it. when are you heading down? i'll be going down on the 4th and be based mostly out of loreto till race day. scott
Very cool! Thanks. No problem opening the GPX file with MS v6.13.4. It took about 30 sec since the file is 1.3MB but both Tracks look good.
is everyone else also mising the first fourty miles? my tack starts right before the rm40 and rm40 is the first rm i get. scott also, if any one is interested i filtered the track and broke into >500 point segments so it will load into garmins. i can post it here. scott
Are you able to re-post by chance? I know this thread is really old, but trying to collect Baja GPX's and the GPX attachment in the original post is not working for me.... Thanks!
You're welcome. It's the original SCORE file.... I loaded a portion to my gps and forgot about the waypoints.... took me a half hour to erase them Way easier to do it on the computer first
