I remember one guys base cracked when a new cover/foam was fitted. The Husky part does feel like a higher quality plastic. Most of my TSE hours were on a Husky tall seat too.

The tall seat feels much better, my legs are more straightened out on the pegs now, I would get Charlie horses in my legs before because the seat to peg distance was too short

Looks like they stepped away from the Husqvarna rear fenders? That was an appealing thing for me since I like that style and parts interchange

I think its KTM interchangeable now but Im not 100% sure. I prefer the old HVA stuff too. From the parts availability to the subframe flex to the better sealed air box. Pretty big changes though. Cant say these guys are standing still like the Big 4 has done for decades.

Speaking of charging, what is inside those boxes in the background that appear to have "XJ Electric 12" on them?

Damn. I just bought a new TSE. Now I want this one. I like the new look better. These are pre-mix only ? No oil injection, right?

I read a comment on FB that its premix now but I dont know for sure. Between the injection system and the subframe they might have dropped 4/5 lbs. off it, which is nice for the spec sheet inspectors.

The scales will tell the story for sure. I am super torn on the deletion of the oil injection....many many thousands of worry free miles on RD400’s and blasters with same system....I do get the lighter pull at the throttle with it deleted tho.....too bad there isn’t a zeeltronics controller for the oil injection

I really hope the oil injection is on the new model...I'd consider getting a second one (I have a 2019 TSE) if the oil injection is still on them...

    Please say it's still there...

It can't really be the true dual sport it is without oil injection...this is how I use mine...

The GPX website shows that is pre-mix on the new model.

All the squids that can't ride their bikes as fast as the bike is capable think pre-mix will make them ride faster/

Darn shame the oil injection was removed...

I would have liked for Gary to leave it on and those wanting to ride "faster" could remove it if desired...

    Just my thoughts...

@Pitster is the guy to ask about the OI. The web page is often wrong on random details. The OI parts are inexpensive anyway, most likely very easy to add. Id want to use premium hoses on it anyway so maybe you need to pull the engine cover off to add a drive gear. Thats no big deal if you are adding the kicker kit too.

He might take awhile to reply. I think they are swamped right now.

Gary shot me a message, new TSEs are running premix fuel. Ive no idea on the OI kit but Id bet its an option.

Bummer...perhaps Gary can have some produced with OI for those not looking to go so "fast"

Or at least make it available somehow without too much trouble...

OI was a significant selling point for me due to my philosophy of use being primarily dual sport in the spirit of the Yamaha DT200...
