If your like me and think motorcycle luggage costs are outrageous you might be interested in this. Watertight cases at Canadian Tire. 1/2 price $74.00 for the medium size made in Italy I wouldn't be surprised if it were the same company that makes Givi.
Princess auto has similar cases and prices too when on sale. 22in for 45 when on sale. https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/22-in-impact-resistant-storage-case/A-p8486037e They have top loading type as well.
Princess is another one I don't mind, although be very careful when online ordering. I ordered two LED shop lights. Only received one, and the customer service was so horrible they would not give me money back or the product. That was online only though.
I like their sidecases when on sale at~$30.00 ea.! One shot deal 3-4yrs ago?Haven't seen them again as new reproductions. Top box? A gutted $4.00 Dewalt saw box from Restore!Same as the one on my BMW!
Princess case for top box; CTC Maximum cases for side boxes. I also have two of the larger Princess cases for trips. On the bike since 2017 and show no wear of hinges/latches/seals.
I'd guess not but it sure isn't marked "property of Xxxxxx dairy".The green ones (KLR style?) in BC are Island Farms. And yes there was a deposit of $3-4.00 ea.on them, I must have signed off on thousands of them over the years. Eh.....I saw some yellow ones/Dairyland at $5.00 ea in the local Kootenay Farcebook Marketplace recently! And even a wtb ad locally!
Picked up a set of those cases December of 2018 for $50 each, grabbed 2 more in 2019 for $75 each Attached the 1st pair to my 2018 GROM; The_Filly now wants a set for her 2017 GROM for when she starts using it to commute to work . I also have the GIVI E450 top case The_Filly's bike has the E350 top case
I'm assuming they are "quick" detachable? If so how did you do that? Looking for a better option for The_Filly's GROM
Night_Wolf; just saw your post about my side cases. They are detachable but not "QUICK". I made a framework that utilizes the BMW mounting loop and the top is on the stud beside the seat and held with an acorn nut. If I used a wingnut I could remove without tools. If you look in the picture inboard on the left case you can see the standoff part of the mount with a lynch pin to hold the frame to the original BMW loop. There are two stand offs per side. Not pretty but practical.
I had a welder friend fabricate the racks on my GROM & purchased bolts, washers, "hitch" pins (with the little holes) for the bottom mounts & "Star" knobs & bolts for the top mounts. Just wondering if someone found a better way
