I googled his name... as had not heard it before... a Brit stunt/demonstration rider who was a big attraction in the UK in the 70's and 80's
A British road racer called Percy Tait helped Yamaha build a better frame for the XS650 compared to the old XS2, they were a reasonably popular bike at the time.
My understanding was it was Colin Seeley, but Yamaha in their wisdom ignored a lot of his ideas. But the TXA handled much better than its XS predecessors.
Great motorcycling photos ? I've got a stack of them. My father was a photographer. He took these at Claremont Speedway.
Michael Evens, BMW, Superstock, Isl man TT 2018. Steve Mercer, 600 Honda, Super Sport race 2, 2018. Dean Harrison, Kawasaki Super Stock practice. How not to leap Ballaugh bridge, Isl man 2018.
One thing that always cracks me up about Isle of Man bikes [ or similar ]. They're always covered in bugs! No headlights to attract or anything, but endless critters seems to commit suicide on the bikes. They look like your own bike after you've done the late night 2 hr round trip for a decent burger or something.....
