Because a fall black & white ride would be weird.
Always someone has to play the color card.
OMG!!! Do you guys think the fall "color" events throughout the state are in jeopardy?
Might have to change the wording to something like Fall Wall.
Oh wait that might offend someone's feelings too
Everything offends somebody’s feelings.
If it doesn’t, I’m offended.
Something mid/late September? October is pretty much dual sport season.
@HappyCRNA an I are Canadian Maritimes bound around Labor Day weekend.
Then it’s LBL200, Bucky, etc season
Was it something @Paper said?
Fall, would be great!
The season, not the act of falling. Someone could scuff a footpeg or bend a clutch lever.
If you do fall make sure it is late, late September or early October. Any sooner and you've got people riding North Shore Shindig in the MN Arrowhead or doing rides out west.
I will most likely pick a couple dates and have a poll that seems to work pretty well.
Keep an eye out for a 2019 GRGR thread. I will post here when I start it also.
mind the central rally when planning if u can help it
Fall leaf gravel ride sounds great!
I vote for January.
Is the route sidecar friendly? How much of it is single track?
Thanks in advance!
Yes it is sidecar friendly it is all on public roads no single track.
Watching and waiting.....I don't know what the rut is since 2018 was my first showing. Upgrading to a modern 12 volt Yamaha if I find one, maybe second generation monoshock and more CC's. Had a blast though arrived late. I still need to figure out how to view this on the phone during down time so if I'm silent don't get offended.
I don't know if anyone here might be interested, but I'm putting together a ride in the northern Loess Hills in mid-May. The setup is similar to the GRGR with a central camping location near Pisgah, IA:
