If your here, you can have your eyes out for me?
What I'm looking for- Vespa GTS 300 (no GTV's) from ~ 2013 up to 2019.

My current scoot is a 2010 300ie GTS Super and has ~3,900k on it, runs great, needs nothing, so whatever I buy will have to be a move up in model years and perhaps I'll gain ABS and improved front suspension.
I have color preferences and avoiding the left coast but otherwise open to travel for the right scoot-fly & ride or truck it home.
My range is generally Texas, Colorado eastward and better yet east of the big muddy. I search ebay (I'm on there nearly everyday), CT(sometimes I look) and CL which has hundreds of scoots. There are very few late model big Vespas on CL nationwide in my search range.

I formerly used Searchtempest to make short time of CL searches but it has ceased working for me. It seems to be that CL now requires a city by city search. FWIW, I am an experienced buyer/seller not in need of how too tips on wheeling and dealing but very open to your eyes sending me toward the right deal. I'm also open to a mechanical/auto body "scoot in need" deal as I'm a wrencher and done much AB work, but has to make sense overall and a scoots fairly low price point to gain much by going that route.
    Thanks for helping!

If I had longer legs & arms I'd have already found one to demo. Best reviews say they are better for longer people ergo wise and that's just not me. A good number of these on CL and CT but prices are lead-in prices w/o freight and dealer prep/admin fees added on in most cases. I've wasted lots of time getting to a price of sale point with these dealers who tempt with bare prices then throw on more.
The idea that a consumer should be played for stupid on admin fees is beyond my patience! Any large sale should come with an invoice and all new vehicles a certificate of origin and that is a couple minutes of time for me w/o their help except the invoice. I can go to my county clerk for free.
    Rant over...

I'm betting the seller is from Nigeria and the buyer will inherit $37 million from a long lost benefactor he never met. Just give the seller your email address, bank account info, cell number, credit card number, and social... your check and scooter will arrive in a couple of days.

This is why dealers are so unwilling to stock scooters. What I believe to be a very good scooter sets on the dealers floor for 3-4 years before the dealer can sell it at a loss. Shame, sure wish US buyers were more accepting of scooters. General public has no idea what they are missing out on.

There is already a different thread for that. You might be better posting there but I can't imagine anyone will care if you post here.
