WANKER WANKER WANKER!
Dammit, so close! If it helps my case any, I was out riding...
Different day, different bike, different adventure. I will admit that the non-moblie man-made structure in this photo is not quite as large as a 1958 Impala, but it does have words on it, which should help. Besides, it's already been established that I am in fact a wanker.
Boy, that 701 looks like a riot to ride down those roads.
This access road to the Zumbro Bottoms Management Unit is located southwest of Wabasha, MN. From Hwy 60 take County Road 86 south for about 1 mile.
Corner of Pembroke and Lawrence in downtown Wabasha.
Dang, but you got there fast. You must not have been on 60, because the construction there slowed me down soooo much. Then I was going to go north on 61 along the river but there was construction there too. Arrrg! Minnesota in the summer!
Found the tag BTW (full disclosure, Mrs. pmd helped) and I hope to grab it back tomorrow.
Well I was on my way to the one you picked up, I saw motorcycle tire tracks and knew I was to late. So I rolled into Wabasha and realised the new one.
And yes the road construction on 60 sucked for getting to Wabasha.
Eeek! I didn't realize someone was so close. I waited until I was home to post. Things have been so relaxed these days. Tomorrow I will post from the field.
Oh, and the comment about the 701 prompted me to look it up (I had no idea that a bike like that existed until now). OMG! I dreamed about a bike like that. My heart skipped a beat. But, after personal reflection, I have to admit that I could not ride a bike like that to it's potential. The bike that fits me, apparently, is a KLR650.
This old building, once the first Rushford school, is at 417 west Stevens Ave in Rushford, MN.
Nicely. It was harder to find in the Google than I would have thought. Well, last night with beers in me that was the case. This morning it was found easily. Funny that. But I found it through zillow rather than some kind of list of historical buildings, as I had expected.
I'm out of practice using my phone to post. After my first upload of the picture I couldn't see it any more so I uploaded it again. Somehow I created that attached files box.
Mystery cave visitor center at the end of mystery cave road, south of Wykoff Mn.
Jolly good! Took me a little work but I found. it.
