Rules prohibit using anything that is movable or mobile as a tag.... just sayin...
D'oh! Thats the spot, right as rain. Damned thing was there for years, maybe decades. I'd consider this Tagged in Good Faith. Judges?
True. But this wasn't what I'd consider mobile when I got the picture. Could-be-moved isn't really the same as mobile, and it doesn't a long look back at prior tags to see static military displays used, any of which could be moved. Anything can be moved. Hell, they moved the Shubert Theater once...
Hold off everyone. In my mind this depends on the originator of the tag. If AWolff agrees that I was in the correct place then I will look for the next tag. If anyone disagrees, consider that I went there in the rain.
AWolf, I’m just bustin your chops because once upon a time, I got called out for exactly that infraction. For the record, my target was far more mobile than this one, but it still seldom ever went anywhere.
I think it is hilarious that something we all consider a permanent attraction went missing. Part of why I. Still follow this silly game.
My vote is we accept it as a valid target AND as validly tagged as well.
And I once used the Hastings bridge, which was built in one location and installed in another, but people worked around the problem. Unless there is an objection i will post the next tag before 1:00 PM tomorrow.
Hah yeah I hadn’t taken any offense.
Heck I’m still claiming they moved the Moto Guzzi factory .
Im saying pmd was in the right place and the city had just seriously upgraded the camouflage paint job.
Tag has been tagged.
Looks like he tagged the green roofed pavilion.
Or the concrete pad...
BTW - I attempted to verify that this was not previously used as a tag but I couldn't open the tag spreadsheet. Do I need to upgrade my program or computer? Does anyone else have this problem?
I've had trouble with it too. Now I just search this thread for whatever town the prospective tag might be in to see if it's been used or you can search by what the tag name might be.
First granite quarry monument off highway 10 just before the state prison in St. Cloud.
Ahem! My latest tag was just for you. How close do you need it to be before you go for it?
I hate when work gets in the way.
Good one. Mrs pmd had a trip planned there a couple years ago but our plans fell through.
Now you can make a weekend out of it.
This visitor center is as close as I will ever get to Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin. To get to it go south on 23 from Spring Green WI and take the first left after the river. We had prepaid seats reserved at one of the dinners they host and had to cancel. They wouldn't give us a refund or a credit for a future visit.
