    Just ramble away...but maybe a fresh thread might be better/ more specific?

    Problem is, the cherries are everywhere around there. This could turn into a LOT of saddle-time :-)
    Our little 2 weeks didn't go as far by half as what I'd hoped for.
    And meeting the locals is DEFINITELY worth it!! :beer

    Got my hands full right now but the pics will come through.

    Finds of the day were
    a) the Eastern end of the Manawahe Rd., a dream-like cruise on damp gravel along the flank of a hill covered in deciduous trees and swirling autumn leaves....

    b) Tapapa Rd.....despite it's signage of "no exit" at both ends, the tiny asphalt strip of bike-path dimensions DOES go through while winding it's way through a narrow farm-valley and over a shallow ridge. VERY picturesque, GOLD!

    Good progress Glitch. That Tapapa rd looks like a little hum dinger, will have to go through there next time I'm up that way
