(That's the Greek name of our trip, unable to translate it but it means... Greek mountains by asphalt!)

For the seventh continued year September is our ''asphalt month''
    M.O.THessaloniki (Motorcycle Club of Thessaloniki)
and our small parallel facebook group called Βόρεια Παρέα(gone4riding)
have planned a great trip to the unknown Greek mountains for the next weekend.

    Re-union Friday 21-9-18
    at camping Vrachos,Kastraki,Kalampaka.

    https://www.tripadvisor.com.gr/Hote...straki_Kalambaka_Trikala_Region_Thessaly.html

More than 50 riders in small groups starting early in the morning
from the camping which is located in front of the Meteora Rocks in Central Greece,
headin' via the mountains to a small village in Northern Peloponnisos called Livartzi.

    Day 1 ,Saturday 22-9-18

Free camping place offered by the villagers at Livartzi,
a small donation of 3 euros each to the local museum is the best answer for their hospitality.

Recommended trip for going back home!

    Hello fellow Greek advriders!
I'm planning again our holidays in Greece , from 15 august for (I hope) 20 days, after two fantastic rides in Crete , this time we would like to change, see Evia/Εύβοια and some islands like Andros
Think to rent in Athens (a pity , looks like most rental places also on islands now have only scooters and quads) open to any advice.
Places to don't miss ? remote beaches reachable only by dirt roads? :D taverna, or restaurant ?

MotoGreece (motogreece.gr) is top notch. Full size bikes, mostly BMWs. My wife and I rented an F700GS last year for our first ever Greece vacation and we rode around the Peloponnese for a week. This year (literally end of next week) we have reserved a R12GS and we are traveling up to Dubrovnik and back over 11 days. John Kapelakis is one of the owners and who've I've always dealt with.

At first we thought of doing some island hoping too (around the Naxos and Paros area), but the ferry schedule for early March is very limited, so that's why we did the Pelopennese on the recommendation of John. Zero regrets, it was fantastic, I'm glad we didn't waste valuable riding time on the long ferry rides.

Any of you Greek riders can help me with getting Auto Moto Land in Thessaloniki to listen to one of its customers? Iodanis Kaptan is being cheated.

    Thanks to all .

Update: hatemail campaign, owner/rider communications have produced some questionable results. The factory is willing to send a replacement ECU for this bike at the end of may. Mr. Kaptan requested a letter relflecting scooter replacement if the ECU did not cure the problem. Moto Trend said they could not do that.

    Hello.
Danish guy, going around the world on a BMW R80GS from 1993, here.
I will soon arrive in Tessaloniki and will be riding around Greece for some time, after Tessaloniki.
But before, I need to do some work on my bike, in Tessaloniki, and I am looking for a workshop where I can be allowed to work for two days-ish.

Does anyone have a workshop with ekstra space or can anyone point me in the direction of a place?

    Many traveling greetings!
    Jakob

It's a little more than maintenance, wich is why I'll need some workshop facilities. Hopefully that will be possible to manage.
I will look into the store you refer to, thanks!
