    Hello all!

Just got a Royal Enfield Himalayan and I am looking to go camping and explore some offroad trails. Any suggestions in the Northern CA area would be appreciated!

If I can ever get a couple extra days, would enjoy meeting up for a ride up the 101.

If you ride up the 101 as far as Ukiah, you owe it to yourself to ride Low Gap Road to Orr Springs Road back to Ukiah. It's a 2+ hour loop that starts with about 20 miles of dirt (just past Ukiah High) and finishes with about the same amount of twisty hilly asphalt. Lots of shade, redwoods, oaks, madrones, views. Low Gap is a county road that is open all year, though not maintained in the winter. It can have some pretty snotty ruts and holes when it's wet, but it's dry now. Or you could go left onto Orr Springs and end up in Mendocino on the coast. It would be worth it to do either. Congrats on the new ride.
