Sturgess in Hamilton!
Sturgess in Hamilton!
KW Honda in Waterloo. A bit of a drive but well worth it. Picked up my Twin there 3 years back and they really knew their stuff. GTA dealers had no idea about the bike. Service department is awesome there as I had a tonne of aftermarket stuff I wanted purchased/installed and they really helped out with shop rate too. They are a Honda only dealer so don’t think anyone is going to know more about Honda’s!
Just got a 1990 CB125T that has KW Honda stickers on it.
GP Bikes in Whitby is also a Honda dealer. They seem to be doing business based on the emails I get from them.
Dewildt Powersports has three locations I think, one up near you. They are a Honda dealer and are still making sales; picking up a Yamaha Tenere 700 from them this week. They were great to deal with through this mess.
Hey Mike, I'll second KW Waterloo. Vey easy to deal with. That's where I bought mine 3 years ago. Not sure if they are open for sales though right now. Apex is open for parts, but not sure about new sales either.
I got two bikes from Milton Powerhouse and had two friends buy bikes there as well ask for Jeff. I can get you his cell number if you want.
Ask and you shall receive. Thanks all for the responses. Great to see this long lived thread come alive!
I had already been in contact with a few of those dealers and will try the others.
Also a fg800
Just stay away from the Kingston dealer, Mike. Not impressed at all with them. Harley shop.
I was at GP bikes today, I didn't see any Honda Twins, but they did have a couple Nice used ADV bikes and a couple gorgeous new KTM990s..
One f800gs with all the fixins, panniers, rally comp, gps, guards.... 8k.
Are you still on a beemer? I have to bring mine in for a service 32ks and I am wondering where is good in the area?
Main Jet Motorsports is a fantastic dealer in Nelson, BC.
Couldn't get a better fly 'n ride location.
From Saturday's coffee fetching chore...
Sounds like a good deal on the F800GS! I really enjoyed mine. I'm giving Honda a try this time...
An 07 RT, along with the AT.
For service around here? I work on my own, get a buddy in the county to do the heavy stuff, like changing my clutch last year. Too old to be bent over like that anymore.
You can try Unique, heard they do solid work. No clue if they know that F8 though.
Finally got out for a ride up the old rail bed and down a few back roads. Thought I might spend a little quality time on the XR250L as it’s time to finally get the oil leak problem we have resealed and do a good strip down rebuild.
Can’t believe that thirty years and almost 40K and this bike still loves to dig and fly. Maybe have to order some parts and put the rebuild off till the end of season
Hey 1litre, I had an XR250L. Great bike but mine was a little reluctant to start sometimes. Randomly. Sometimes first kick, once in awhile, 20. Installed a bigger pilot jet, carefully adjusted the valves, etc. … same result. I now have a '95 DR250 which is very similar to the XR, but... it has the button
