    SHEESE, these young-uns!

Yes I knew about the Aprilia Rotax connection, because of the DS650 ATV Ski-Doo built. But before then I didn't know of the connection with motorbikes.
I guess I should have qualified the past of 20+ back. Especially when talkin scoots. But you see just like alot of us on this site, our first bikes were in the 60's, the 1960's. My first was a 1960 Honda 50, it was full sized, not a mini, those came later.

Mine was an SS50M Red (Sport 50)

I use to ride with these guys and then i saw the light.Mostly solo rides now. When you think about it ,it is a solo sport. You and the bike even if you are with other riders it's still you and the bike.

Good analogy that applies to any group I think.....it seems the bigger and harder someone pounds their chest the more fragile their ego is.:deal

Well, I decided the sun was enough to get out for some riding today....went up to the Hollywood snow cross.....got some weird looks by all the snowmachiners being on my two wheels....but, not my scene. Decided to kick it up to Hatchers...the roads were good and I could really twist on some throttle....About half way up I saw this access road....looked like a reasonable challenge but the grade was too much...I could not keep traction.

Got to the top and really a pretty day....the snow burm was bumming me out so I rode over and posed for another shot...

Well, the bike fell a couple of times on its stand on the packed snow...and, then when I went to start the bike...nothing...no electrical at all...looked at all my connections but still nothing...I have never had battery problems but knew it must be a connection....so, I called TEAM KLR aka Wheeldog....and, he generously offered to come get me...he brought the brains - Mary Ellen also and got the bike back to my house....THANKS ROGER AND MARY ELLEN!

Now I gotta figure out where my connection is lost....

What kind of tire pressure you guys running w/ studs?

I've got mine fairly low and I'd hate to roll a tire off a rim but mo traction would be mo betta on all this ice.

I'm guessing you all are around 15-18, no?
