Patrol arrived today! And it looks like we can get both Jodie and Ella in the hack. They aren't riding in it yet (not till I've driven it a while and feel comfortable with the rig), so we'll how things go once we all 3 hit the road. But so far, so good... now to order Ella's doggles...
Happy Happy, Joy Joy! take it slow and get to know the new rig! Come up to Good Liver when you get your legs under you and show it off! VW
Congrats! Lookin forward to seeing your rig around town. You can get the doggles right here in Eugene at Lexi Dog in the 5th St Market or at Wags on Coburg Rd.
G/day all Here are a couple of photo's of my mate DJ a Jack Russell, possibly one of the most travelled dogs in a sidecar in Oz. we got him as a 6 week old puppy back in June 1990, attended his first rally 2 weeks later, a 2500km round trip. This is at the famous Wombat pub in NSW, on the way to or back from a rally, I can't remember. Outback Oz, on the Darling river at Tilpa. At the WA/SA border with Sally my wife. In September 2006, he passed away at one of his favourite rally's, the Dargo High Plains rally in the high country of Victoria, (he had attended 14 Dargo rally's). So I thought it only appropiate to bury him there. with a view to die for Cheers
i've got 4 jrt's,all the short legged ones.great dogs-friends.sorry about yours.i've had to bury 4 of them and i know how hard that is.it looks like he ended up in a nice place though.thanks for the pics.
Thank you Thrux, we'd been looking for a local source to get Doggles. And thanks Vernon, definitely taking it slow for now. Nothing in the hack right now but 3 bags of stove pellets (about 120 lbs.) - 2 in the tub, 1 in the trunk.
We have 7 dogs have only tried this one in the hack. She crawled from the hack right into my lap the first time we put her in (the dog not the girl). The Dunstall pipes don't seem to bother her (the girl or the dog).
Here is Mya just before she decided to take a run at a porcupine. So much for enjoying the ride! I'm in the process of trying to train her to be good in the hack. It is a struggle!
Hey Chris...Jack Russells are great pupsters. Mine was named Buckwheat...he was a complete character in every sense of the word!! That was a great little guy you had-must have been a great hack monkey!! Bob
Thanks man! She's a hoot to ride with or with out the dog. As you can tell, I ride her year round too.
you sir, have my recently departed and much loved "lucy" in your sidecar. please take good care of her.thanks.
